Perryville Woman's Prison We are so proud of the hard work our yoga teachers put into this project. They drive far and park far, leave all their belongings behind and then teach yoga in a courtyard with a set of keys, sometimes a radio if they need help, and a lot of faith. Each time the experience is life changing not only for the inmates, but also for our teachers. Apparently there are two yoga teachers that are inmates that rival to be lead student! We have several of our teachers that are being mentored to be part of this program, and we already doubled the amount of classes to every other week instead of once a month! Thank you!

The Benefits of Yoga to a Rotary Club in Mesa Our Yoga Teachers in our Yoga School provided Yoga tips to a group of rotary members at a Rotary Club Event! They worked at researching and creating handouts and a PowerPoint to teach some important yoga benefits. It was eye opening to watch several men and women learn about their spine, the posture of a typical corporate body and how breathing can really help us! They were encouraged and are looking forward to partnering with us again!

We are bringing Yoga once per month to La Mesita Homeless Shelter with A New Leaf Organization. We were introduced to this partner by one of our yoga teachers that had donated her time and taught yoga for free and wanted to pass the torch. Because of your donations, we are now able to pay our teachers to attend the class. We always need a second teacher to be there, since we do have a Yoga School, we send a teacher in training to be mentored and they in turn receive internship hours for this! It is a win-win to link this community and our yoga school together!

Yoga for Chandler School Teachers is a project that is near and dear to my heart since I am a former school teacher and counselor. We wanted to partner and teach their teachers yoga for years, but we had to be patient and wait until we got our non-profit officially off the ground. We have now increased from once a month to twice, and we want to do much more! For every $2,000 donated to this project, we can provide 1 class per week for an entire calendar year at the school of your choice! We also want to start this project in Gilbert too, and the sky is our limit from there with your support!

Sojourner Center in partnership with the Pet Companion Shelter We provide yoga every month, we are currently fundraising to bring it weekly to the survivors, their children and the employees! We have partnered with the Sojourner center in April for #SexualAssaultMonth or #SAM to raise money for this cause as well! Our goal is $6,000 in the month of April to bring yoga to all survivors, their children and the staff once a week for a full calendar year. We have raised $750 so far, and we know God will provide all we need, thank you to those of you that are called to this project!

We brought yoga to the mothers at Maggie's Place, we want to increase it to monthly next quarter! Maggie's place reached out to local yoga studios looking for a volunteer teacher, and it never happened. Yoga's Arc found out, and of course provided these moms yoga thanks to your donations, you made it possible! For another $300, we can provide it monthly for the rest of the year for the moms that stay at Maggie's Place.
