All Levels Yoga

All Levels Yoga is a great way to deliver yoga to a group of people that practice at various levels or have never practiced at all. We deliver a practice where your instructor is prepared to meet the needs of everyone present. No matter how large or small the amount of experience, everyone benefits.

This practice combines a yoga 101 style that contains a beginner flow and ends with stretching and relaxation yoga techniques. A great overall practice that can be delivered to any community.

Ashtanga

(This class is very advanced and should only be chosen by advanced practitioners.  If your audience is curious, please mention this in your request so we shorten the practice and eliminate the extremely challenging poses.)

Build core strength and tone the body with ashtanga yoga, the modern-day version of classical yoga from India. It is the root of all flow and is practiced strictly in Sanskrit without music. Prepare to sweat in this dynamic, challenging practice designed to purify the body. We’ll go through multiple, repetitive sequences to break you open and instill the values of discipline and habit.

Among the benefits of this more advanced practice comes from purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. Suitable for those in need of a solid cardio workout and who have ample yoga experience, you’ll leave this class relieving stress, burning fat, and with an increased focus and sense for your body.

Astro Yoga

Astro Yoga is a combination of astrology and yoga. Most commonly used with the phases of the Moon, especially for the Full and the New Moon. We start with a crystal grid to enhance the energy of the sign the Moon is in. At times crystals are included to reflect the sign that the Sun is in. This crystal grid is displayed to enjoy during your yoga session.

During the New Moon, we help you journal your intentions prior to the yoga practice. There are monthly rituals performed that involve releasing the intentions back to the Earth the day after the New Moon and what they wish to release prior to the yoga class. These desires of release may also be sent back to the Earth through a variety of techniques that can include fire, water, or burying. Although both the New Moon and the Full Moon are most potent on the day they occur, their energy is strong enough that events can occur up to three days prior or three days after the Moon is new, or full!

All other significant astrological events can be added to this practice such as eclipses, conjunctions, comets, and more! We move with the energy you provide for the journey! All rituals, including Astro Yoga, help us live with the rhythm of the seasons and bring a bit of ritual to our lives. In today’s world, many folks have lost the rhythm of the seasons, and ritual is performed rarely. Astro Yoga is a great way to rediscover your connection to this wild and wonderful planet, and the universe, we live within.

Core Stress Release

Core Stress Release (CSR) is a technique used within a yoga practice that is meant to help the body release deep patterns of stress and tension within the muscles. The technique was designed by Dr. David Bercelli to activate a natural reflex within the muscles to shake or tremor in a relaxing and soothing way. Once you’ve got the technique you should be able to engage it on your own at home any time, especially after an episode of difficulty, stress, or tension.

Kids Yoga

We will craft an age-appropriate experience that teaches young minds how to decompress in a busy world. Presented in a child’s language, this style of yoga targets young bodies and yoga practitioners of all skill levels, enabling families to connect through meditation, breathing, and introductory poses.

Children are often exposed to the natural, hectic nature of their everyday lives, and yoga can teach them how to destress, find balance, and connect with their inner self at an early age. Fostering compassion and cooperation, this form teaches parents and children alike how to find calmness together.

Laughter Yoga

Need a good belly laugh? Come join us to relieve some stress with some Yoga and Laughter!!! We start off with techniques to learn to force a laugh that turns into genuine laughter. Who doesn’t need some laughter in their day, and in their yoga practice!

Light Movement & Stretch

We provide a class with the same movements and stretches we just call them different terms.  Your instructor is prepared to meet the needs of everyone present. No matter how large or small the amount of experience, everyone benefits.

This practice combines a beginner style that contains stretching and relaxation techniques. A great overall practice that can be delivered to any community.

We will also enhance your endurance and help you get reacquainted with your body through gentle stretching, balance, and postures.

This practice will help reduce stress and anxiety; help improves your sleep, and help build the muscles needed for childbirth.

Power Yoga

In modern yoga, power yoga stands out as a popular and athletic practice that emphasizes standing postures to get your heart pumping. Inspired by ashtanga yoga, power yoga focuses on building strength rather than flexibility -- there are typically fewer poses but they are held longer.

Like most yoga practices, power yoga enhances stamina and mental focus, but unlike more traditional forms, it can be quite rigorous and typically burns more calories. If you’re ready to take yoga to the next level, pump up the beat and request a power yoga class today!

Relaxation Yoga

(Zen Package Equipment Rental is required for this class, see pricing page)

This is a great practice to choose if you need yoga but are exhausted from the business of life. This is a great practice to combine with a girls' weekend or to wind down after a long day.

Relaxation Yoga can include any of the following practices: guided & self-meditation, restorative yoga for your nervous system, yin for your connective tissue and maybe even some sound healing or self-myofascial release! You name it, we provide it in your yoga experience of bliss.

Restorative Yoga

(Zen Package Equipment Rental is required for this class, see pricing page)

Restorative yoga goes through five to six gentle and supported poses held for several minutes to help the body and mind relax and rest. Props are used to help you maintain the positions longer. This form uses passive stretching to open up the body and strengthen your nervous system.

An antidote to the general fast pace of life, restorative yoga will assist in combating stress, anxiety, fatigue, and injury. This class offers healing for the body and the mind and is often used to restore calm and harmony to our lives.

Self-Myofascial Release

(Zen Package Equipment Rental is required for this class, see pricing page)

Looking to relieve pain and increase mobility? Self-myofascial release may be a good fit for you! The actions taught in this class attempt to release tension in the fascia (connective tissues) caused by posture, inflammation, or other physical reactions. Our dedicated instructors will guide you through gentle techniques to target common trouble spots and help you feel instant release.

Self-myofascial release can help complement your general yoga practice, and applying gentle pressure to areas such as your feet, legs, chest, forearms, hands, neck, and shoulders can help renew blood flow to restricted areas, improving muscular health and circulation. Give self-myofascial release a try and see how it affects your body!

Sacred Sound

(Zen Package Equipment Rental is required for this class, see pricing page)

Sacred Sound is the concept that your mind and body operate at certain vibrations, and such vibrations can be manipulated through sound waves. Using sound bowls (both crystal and metal), chimes, and drums, this practice sees your body and mind absorbing sound waves to focus and center you for deeper meditation and healing.

Because sound resonates in everything we do, Sacred Sound has seen the benefits of relieving stress. Taking part in a Sacred Sound Session only requires you to lay back and enjoy the sound!

Yin

(Zen Package Equipment Rental is required for this class, see pricing page)

Take on a more meditative approach with a deep physical focus on the practice of Yin yoga. A slow-paced and passive form, Yin yoga stretches the connective tissues around the joints to increase circulation and flexibility. Postures are often held for longer periods of time, allowing you to relax, soften the muscle, and move closer to the bone.

Prominently used to tackle tight joints, Yin yoga requires longer holds, similar sensations to getting a massage.  Yin encourages you to get intimate with the self and often brings strong emotions to the forefront. You’ll deepen your awareness of inner silence, breathing, and interconnectedness.

The practice can be modified to include the chair as a balancing prop while you stand, or gently used as you sit upon it. Whether you are looking to squeeze in a session during a busy workday or have limited mobility due to age or physical attributes, chair yoga serves as a great alternative to the more challenging yoga styles.

While seated, this form allows you to exercise versions of twists, hip stretches, backbends, and more.
