Yoga’s Arc 300 Hour YTT

Our 300 Hour is divided into 11-Units (January-November, one weekend per month.)

Offering BOTH In-Person and Virtual options!

Your Yoga Teacher Training journey begins right here!

This is the vision for our Yoga’s Arc 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YA YTT).   I see the value in helping yoga teachers prepare to teach all bodies in all places, and I know that our 300-hour program will help us prepare you for an even deeper personal practice, and show you all the ways you can bring yoga to more people by allowing you to teach in all of our current programs along with our current Instructors.  We will be able to provide teaching experiences in parks, schools, prisons, women’s and homeless shelters, senior programs, studios, gyms and so much more.

My name is Kary Sinkule, I am the CEO and Founder of Yoga’s Arc LLC and Yoga’s Arc Foundation (Our Non-Profit that brings free yoga to underserved communities)  and we now have over 70 instructors in two major cities:  We have been able to employ all of our current graduates at a place to teach in the yoga community that is the perfect fit for them. This has become something that new teachers are drawn to us for and it has continued to grow because studios can only provide so many classes.

Our lineage of Yoga comes from a Variety of Yoga paths, most of us have graduated from schools with a Hatha and Ashtanga Lineage.  No matter what lineage Yoga’s Arc teachers have come from, we have brought yoga back to basics so that everybody can participate.  In YA YTT 300, we will the ability to provide all yoga instruction on mats and in chairs at all times by our trainees and teachers. This will ensure that trainees with physical or emotional limitations can participate and learn, and everyone in turn learns how to teach people with a variety of challenges.  We will be educating you to teach a variety of formats to all bodies, showing a variety of options with chairs, props, and walls so that everybody can participate.  Our goal is to help you become more knowledgeable in the areas that are introduced in our 200-hour.  We provide all of our 200 Hour YTT Curriculum to our 300 Hour Trainees Upon Request to review as resources any time, this comes with the training!

We will create an individualized educational program for each of you which will come with mentors in your area of interest.  For example, we were able to accommodate “Holli” who had a hip replaced in the middle of her Yoga Teacher Training Program, and “Stephanie” our retired police officer that fell 60 feet on duty and has had over 40 surgeries and reconstructed elbow surgery, and “Shari” who had breast surgery to remove her cancer a month before she started.  We accept all bodies because they truly make the best teachers. Our lead trainer Julie Hoffman who teaches in our Women’s prison and shelters is a great resource for those teachers that want to serve.  If someone attends our program and wants to focus on Ashtanga, we will pair her with our Lead Teacher Kelly Gaona, who can help anyone get started in teaching Ashtanga in any community.  These are just a few examples of the many opportunities our program can provide vs. just a training experience in one studio.  Our trainees that are in recovery are now paired up and teaching in our recovery programs.  Our 300 Hour program will allow us to do so much more of this!

Our Purpose

Everyone has a right to feel their best in mind and body. Yoga isn’t about self-improvement, it’s about self-love. We want to spread the message that people do not need to be able to touch their toes to practice yoga. Anyone can practice yoga.  We believe it is our responsibility to share the love and power of the practice by bringing unique classes to our clients. We teach to stretch minds and we teach to stretch bodies.  We will encourage our YA YTT Future Instructors in training to do the same, to stretch their minds and bodies so they can begin to help others do the same.

Our Core Values

The highest standards of personal and professional ethics and behavior are expected of all our trainees. Further, we expect our trainees to display good judgment, diplomacy, and courtesy in their professional relationships with one another and with our clients and instructors. That being  said, our core values are the following:

•  Listen

  • Be Empathetic

  • Always listen to the body

  • Strong Open-Door policy

• Learn

• Always Learning, through continuous Education, Growth & Development

• Embrace Challenge, Opportunities are born here!

• Apply what you learn

• Inspire to want to do your best

• Celebrate

• You

• Your accomplishments

• All you learn and who you impact along the way

• Remember to always be humble

• We are One Family!

YA YTT Attendance Policy

Our philosophy on attendance is to provide you with several options to learn when it is convenient for you. We expect you to do your best to be on time for class, after breaks, and after lunch, however, we also know that life happens, and part of learning to teach yoga is learning to balance life while taking care of yourself to become the teacher you need to become. We provide our program so you can choose to participate in person, virtually, and on-demand, or all of the above. We understand that we all learn differently. We also understand that you have important commitments outside of our program. Should extenuating circumstances impact attendance, you are permitted to miss class, provided you work with the program director to make up any missed hours. You are responsible for rescheduling missed hours to make up any course material you have missed. Your options will be watching the recorded class you missed, and if it is an activity you need to participate in our faculty will work with you to help coordinate the activity. If you need to miss any training session, you must speak to the program director before the beginning of the session and follow the instructions to make up the missed classes. Students recognize that, if they miss training hours that they have not made up, they will not graduate from the program.

YA YTT Payment/Refund Policy

Upon receiving an acceptance email, you will be charged a deposit of $450 on your credit card. Final invoices will be emailed 2 weeks before the start date of training which will be the deadline to pay your first installment (25% of the remaining balance). Every 50 hours you will be invoiced for 25% of your balance until your balance is paid in full, which is your last 50 hours.  We are open to creating a monthly payment plan for those that request it.  If you withdraw from the program after acceptance, but before the program starts, you will not receive your deposit back. However, such an amount can be applied to a future YA training program. The program will not give any refunds or credits after the training starts. The program reserves the right to cancel any training before it begins. In that case, any payments applicants have made will be refunded in full.
